RAGHAV KAKKAR
Documentary Filmmaker/Photographer
I hold a degree in international relations, which has equipped me with a deep understanding of policy frameworks and the intricate connections between media, business, and government. This academic foundation led me to work on the ground, where I uncovered the nuanced human stories that shape these societal frameworks.
As a producer in digital and broadcast media, I had the privilege of working on long-form feature reports spanning politics, culture, environmental issues, and sustainability. My work at NDTV included producing documentaries for India’s longest televised health campaign.
Currently, I serve as a visual consultant with UN bodies and collaborate with various organizations and media houses on commissioned projects. My interests lie in exploring the impact of climate change, the political dynamics of our society, cultural nuances, and human-centered stories.

Though the road ahead may be long, I relish the opportunity to embark on this life-long journey of documentation, where each step will bring me closer to understanding the fundamental principles that govern our existence. In the words of John Dunn, "In some measure it certainly is true, as Locke put it, that men 'live upon trust.' But the twin of trust is betrayal."
Through my work, I aim to capture the essence of this duality and offer an unvarnished glimpse into the world as we know it.
